Join us for an afternoon with our Roaster in Residence, Metric Coffee, as they host a panel discussion focused on Honduras.

Led by Xavier Alexander (Metric’s co-founder and green coffee buyer), we host Benjamin Paz, a staple in the Global Coffee community, conducting a panel discussion to talk about Honduras farming culture and how it is and has to progress through community.

Benjamin Paz has changed the way Santa Barbara farmers cultivate and tend to their land. Through consulting, harvesting, and exporting, Paz and, his Honduras family business, San Vicente are advancing coffee by enabling and training framers to tackle traditional roadblocks through savvy processing and drying practices. Leading with a willingness and ambition to produce Honduras’ best coffee, Benjamin’s San Vicente has become the largest supplier of CoE winners in the country and in an area of the country that is historically off-written due to its colder and more humid conditions, and with his community, Benjamin is changing the global perception of Honduras coffee.

Guests are invited to taste samples of Alma Pineda in the Home Espresso Lab after the talk.
