Every La Marzocco espresso machine is handmade in Florence, but each machine’s story only comes to life through years of service on your espresso bar. True Artisan Club celebrates machines designed to last, marking major milestones in your espresso machine’s life.

For espresso machines with shot counters, there are tiers at 500,000, 1,000,000, 2,000,000, 3,000,000, and 4,000,000 espresso shots pulled. For the Linea Classic, the tiers are 15, 20, 25, and 30 years.

To check if your machine is ready to join the True Artisan Club, you can view the shot counter on your Linea PB, GB5 S, KB90, Strada S, and Strada X. The steps are simple:

  1. On the panel furthest to the left on your machine, press and hold button 3 until “enter password” appears
  1. Enter your password. Default is Button 1, 2, 3, and then 1, 2, 3 again. Some machines use Button 1, 2, 3, and then 3, 2, 1
  1. Scroll through the menu using Button 2 and locate Coffee Dose Counter
  1. Select by pressing Button 3
  1. The number of espresso shots pulled should appear on the screen
  1. Exit by pressing Buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously

If your machine is a Linea Classic or a previous model, you can check the date of manufacture on its data plate.

  1. The espresso machine’s data plate is on the right side of the drip tray
  1. This name plate includes the machine’s serial number, model, and the date of manufacture under the “DATA” section
  1. The date of manufacture includes the month and year the machine was built

Once you’ve located the shot counter or date of manufacture on the data plate, take a photo and post it to Instagram along with a photo of your espresso machine while tagging @lamarzocco.usa. We also ask that you send a direct message. Someone will respond shortly to collect your information and add you to the True Artisan Club.
