La Marzocco Out of the Box is an opportunity for baristas, roasters, cafe owners, and just about everybody to come together and check out new coffee equipment, R&D and, well, just party. The concept was first realized at HOST in Milan last Fall and, just recently, was held at Espresso Specialisten in Sweden.
Other than geeking out on espresso, the event featured vac pot brewing, latte art jam, and probably lots of alcohol.
Out of the Box NYC edition is coming June 9-10 at Chelsea Market. It will be a fun event, featuring new (LM and others) coffee equipment, geeking out on coffee, and hands on fun. Details are being worked out right now but we’ll make all related announcements on this blog.
